Nature Walk

We’ll start with a short walk in Tiny Marsh, the number one birding Hotspot in Simcoe County. The wildlife viewing tower is just a short stroll from the Native Centre. On the way there we’ll pass the site of the Garlic Mustard control project and see how well the hundreds of native plants that are replacing this invasive weed thanks to the hard work of determined volunteers. Or we might head in the opposite direction towards Trotter Dyke and wide open views of this magnificent wetland.

Potluck, Social & AGM

The walk will be followed by a delicious potluck dinner. Then the fun begins. We’re going to play a nature trivia game called JeppBirdie. I’m not sure of the spelling and the rules are anyone’s guess but I’m certain it will be fun. Sometime during the evening we’ll get to the important bits. There a few decisions to be made and the selection of the Club’s Executive.

This is our annual opportunity to get to know each other a little better. I’m looking forward to seeing you there!
